How can you balance your blood sugar levels during the premenstrual phase?
During the premenstrual phase, it's very important to balance your blood sugar levels. Research has shown that adding cinnamon to our dishes considerably reduces blood glucose levels.
Ingredients :
- 1 apple
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 200 g chickpeas
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons date syrup
Instructions :
- Peel and core the apple.
- Melt coconut oil in a pan and steam the apple in it until it is soft.
- Rinse the chickpeas under water and add them to the pan with the steamed apple.
- Blend everything into a soft mixture and then add the date syrup and cinnamon.
- Spread the mixture on the puff pastry. Roll up the puff pastry and cut it into 9 pieces.
- Place the rolls on a baking paper and bake them in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
