Een tijdje geleden stopte ik voor de tweede keer in mijn leven met de anticonceptiepil. De vorige keer kreeg ik hierna enorme uitbarstingen van acné, iets waar ik totaal niet mee bekend was aangezien ik behoor tot de generatie die zonder veel fuzz op haar 14 aan de pil werd gezet :-)
De ondersteuning van Flow + Glow heeft hier naar mijn gevoel best goed bij geholpen! Ik heb zeker acné gekregen in de afgelopen periode, maar dan ging het vooral over enkele (kleine) puistjes. Ik ben nog niet supergoed bekend met mijn eigen natuurlijke cyclus, dus ik kan niet goed zeggen of de supplementen hierop ook een positieve invloed hebben. Ik heb doorheen mijn cyclus momenteel weinig tot geen last, dus ik ga ervan uit dat Flow hier wel bij helpt. Alleszins vind ik Flow wel een heel fijne toevoeging op mijn dagelijkse vitamine-inname!
Met Glow ben ik na 2 maanden gestopt. Dit supplement viel toch vrij zwaar op mijn maag. Nietsvermoedend nam ik de 2 supplementen 's ochtends tegelijk in en daar werd ik enorm misselijk van. Het is pas na een tijdje opzoeken, dat ik ergens kon lezen dat deze supplementen best niet tegelijk ingenomen worden. Een tip voor Guud om dit misschien ergens bovenaan te vermelden? Dat had mij veel misselijke ochtenden kunnen besparen ;-)
Toch merkte ik dat mijn maag ook van streek geraakte als ik Glow innam bij een zwaardere maaltijd rond de middag. Ik heb er nog wat mee 'geëxperimenteerd', maar dat zware gevoel bleef toch wel hangen.

Het is fijn om te lezen dat Flow je ondersteunt bij het terugvinden van je natuurlijke cyclus na het stoppen met de anticonceptiepil. We begrijpen dat het even kan duren voordat je lichaam zijn ritme weer heeft gevonden, maar het klinkt hoopvol dat je tot nu toe weinig last ondervindt. Flow is inderdaad een fijne toevoeging om je lichaam tijdens deze transitie te ondersteunen en die kan inderdaad prima 's ochtends ingenomen worden.
Het spijt ons te horen dat Glow wat zwaarder viel op je maag. Je geeft een goede tip om duidelijker aan te geven dat Flow en Glow het beste niet tegelijk ingenomen kunnen worden. We zullen dit meenemen in onze productinformatie duidelijk op de website. Hopelijk kun je met de combinatie van Flow en Vibes een betere balans vinden. Glow 's avonds nemen is vaak een optie die geen klachten geeft.

Ik neem nu al 4 maanden Glow en 2 maanden Flow en zie toch al een verbetering in mijn hormonale acne en haarverlies dat ik kreeg na het stoppen met de pil bijna 11 maanden geleden. Mijn hormonale acne is nog niet helemaal weg, maar al een stuk beter en ik heb ook opgemmerkt dat er nieuwe haargroei is (zie foto). Mijn maandstonden beginnen ook wat regelmatiger te worden. Door het stoppen met de pil schommelde het tussen cycli van 34 to 59 dagen. Na nog maar 2 maanden Flow te nemen is het zich al aan het stabiliseren naar cycli van gemiddeld 32 dagen. Het enige nadeel waardoor ik 4 sterren geef, is dat ik het echt met een "stevige" maaltijd moet innemen, anders word ik nogal misselijk. Ik heb hierdoor mijn eetgewoonten wat moeten aanpassen van veel kleine maaltijden naar enkele stevige maaltijden. Maar ik ben blij met de resultaten tot nu toe en zal deze supplementen blijven nemen.

Zinc is an essential mineral that you’ll find in your body’s cells, and it’s vital for enzyme reactions in the body. Zinc contributes to normal hair, skins and nails, but it must be sufficiently absorbed into the bloodstream to do its job.
This is where the science stuff comes in - to ensure zinc is adequately absorbed into the bloodstream; zinc must be ‘bound’ in a certain way. The zinc that we use, zinc bisglycinate, is bound by two molecules of the amino acid glycine. So by using this type of zinc, we know it’s absorbed well in the gut.
No, Glow contains plants and herbs so we do not advise that you take this supplement during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, you might want to consider Guud Flow. This supplement also contains zinc and it is a complete multivitamin so it might be the right one for your skin and hair as well. Flow also contains vitamin C, which contributes to normal collagen formation for skin function!

There are several factors that determine how long it takes for a supplement to start working. A balanced diet and lifestyle is the starting point. In addition, your body may also have certain nutrient deficiencies. The less they are present in your body, the longer it takes before you notice whether something 'starts working'. If there is a greater deficiency of a particular nutrient, it will take longer for the level of that nutrient to normalize.
We have formulated the supplements to ensure you don’t consume too much of one ingredient, meaning they’re safe to take all 4 (Flow, Glow, Inside & Vibes) together without exceeding the daily recommended amount of certain vitamins and minerals. Limit the intake of extra zinc via a zinc supplement (10 mg and above) to a few weeks or months.
Ideally yes. We recommend you take your supplements with a meal, not on an empty stomach to avoid gastrointestinal problems. Swallow them with water and not with coffee. Some vitamins and minerals are less well absorbed by the body when you take them with coffee.
Our supplements are as natural as possible. We use Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) for our capsules instead of (bovine) gelatin. Hydroxypropyl cellulose is derived from wood cellulose.
In many dietary supplements, you will find silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, and titanium dioxide. These substances are used to fill the capsules better and whiten the capsules. We do not use silicon and titanium dioxide because EFSA (European Food & Safety Agency) no longer considers these substances safe due to their negative influence on the genetic material (genotoxicity).
We offer a natural alternative using rice concentrate, starch, and transparent HPMC capsules.
